I believe in Lubuto Library Partners.

Yes, the organization has an inspiring mission: to empower and help educate Zambia's most vulnerable children, many of them orphaned by the AIDS epidemic and without access to schooling or the community that comes with it.

But what inspires me isn't Lubuto's mission -- it's Lubuto's practical impact. These libraries serve as a hub for local communities, garnering thousands of visits per week, and offer a safe space to learn, play, experiment, and join everything from sign language storytime to girls' coding camp to literacy instruction for young mothers in conjunction with childcare during class. Lubuto's libraries are a safe space valued by many, and Lubuto's work matters.
