The light at the end of the tunnel (4 of 4)

The Bemba word "Lubuto" means light, enlightenment and knowledge. But it means those things in the sense of "light at the end of the tunnel," which better expresses the journey that children embark on when they enter a Lubuto library.

We promised to bring the library back to the children who have so sorely missed it. It is Lubuto's obligation, duty and honor to play such an important role in their lives. We told them Lubuto would always be there for them--and that promise was made on behalf of all of you supporters. It was the light at the end of the tunnel.

We are managing to Build Back Better and make a library that is better than ever. When it opens, the community will see that, together, we have kept our promise to them. It will be a new beginning, but it is just a beginning.

Lubuto will always work to lead children toward enlightenment and knowledge. As a member of Lubuto's family, will you reach out to others and give them the opportunity to make Lubuto's light shine brighter than ever? To join you in turning on the lights and keeping them on with sustaining support?
