Sally Sinn most recently was a contract consultant for library technical services at the University of Maryland, College Park. Following a 31-year career in technical services at the National Library of Medicine and the National Agricultural Library, she served as Interim President and Director of Administration for the Council on Library and Information Resources in Washington, D.C. from 2004 to 2006. From 2000 – 2004 she served on the Board of Directors of NFAIS (formerly the National Federation of Abstracting and Indexing Services). In her management of technical services and indexing operations, she has been committed to the application of technology to improve library technical services and promoted contractual and other partnership arrangements among public and private agencies to expand bibliographic database content. She served in leadership roles for a number of national library programs for cataloging and serials control. Sally holds an MLS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
